The Cam-Flo XLT bag filter combines the strength of a multi-layered, polypropylene/polyester media with a reinforced, rigid ABS frame to create a robust air filter that is strong enough for even the most extreme conditions. It has been tested in laboratory conditions to a static pressure exceeding 33.0”w.g. It is ideal for turbulent or high pressure applications where normal HVAC filters would fail. The Cam-Flo XLT offers:

- Superior mechanical strength providing the most robust HVAC air filter available.
- May be operated to 2500 cfm (full size) without sacrificing performance.
- Is capable of withstanding unusual variations in airflow or system turbulence.

City-Flo XL Bag Filter | MFG: Camfil Farr

The Camfil Farr City-Flo XL addresses the indoor air quality needs of today’s green buildings and may be applied in applications where particulate and odorous contaminants may be a concern. The City-Flo XL is ideal for removing contaminants associated with harsh urban environments. Additionally, the filter can be applied to reduce outside air during temperature extremes through application of the Indoor Air Quality Procedure as outlined in ASHRAE Standard 62.1, Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality.

Its unique tapered pocket design and single-piece casting plastic header ensure the lowest life-cycle cost and maintains integrity through varying airflows or HVAC system turbulence.

The media is constructed from a unique high efficiency fiberglass media bonded to a broad spectrum carbon adsorbent blend to provide efficient dust and odor control. The City-Flo XL has a minimum efficiency reporting value (MERV) of 13 when evaluated per ASHRAE Standard 52.2 to meet the minimum requirement for commercial applications designed to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) as established by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). It’s fine fiber media maintains rated efficiency throughout the life of the product.

The Aerostar® Fiberglass Pocket is constructed of an ultra-fiberglass fiber media. The media is bonded to a thin non-woven synthetic backing and sewn with multiple rows of expanded stitching. Hi-Flo ~ The Camfil Farr Hi-Flo® offers high efficiency ASHRAE grade filtration to address today's indoor air quality problems. The Hi-Flo can remove contaminants such as fumes, smoke, bacteria, fungi, and virus-bearing droplet nuclei. High Lofted Air Laid Media
The Camfil Farr Hi-Flo incorporates high lofted air laid micro fiber glass media to ensure reliable efficiency throughout the life of the filter. Its small fiber diameter and uniform lofting results in consistent sub-micron particle capture and a low resistance to airflow throughout the life of the filter. A synthetic micro mesh media backing ensures media protection and support in turbulent or varying airflows. The Hi-Flo's particle capture performance and filter configuration are unaffected by dust loading and/or humidity.
Controlled Media Spacing
Camfil Farr is the only manufacturer to offer controlled media spacing to minimize pocket-to-pocket contact, ensure uniform airflow, and allow full utilization of the media area. High Lofted Melt-Blown Synthetic Media
The Camfil Farr S-Flo includes a unique melt-blown synthetic media that provides critical capture of particles as small as 0.3 micron. The media incorporates a uniform high loft to provide a lower resistance to airflow than comparable high efficiency air filters. A lightweight scrim media backing ensures protection of the media and prevents media erosion. Stronger than conventional media, the S-Flo can withstand the rigors of turbulent airflow common in certain industrial applications. Performance and configuration are unaffected by dust loading or humidity. The S-Flo may also be used in industrial applications involving chemicals that may be hostile to other types of filters.
